From entry to flagship
Published prices exist for the two largest programmes, Jinxiu Tianfu and White Cloud Express. On those trains the per-guest figure is set per departure and printed in the table below. For the rest of the fleet (Silk Road Express, Panda Express Chengdu, New Orient Express, Tianshan Express, Beautiful Sky Road, Colorful Guizhou, Hulunbuir Express, Lindou Express) pricing is route-and-departure specific; we publish "from" ranges and quote the exact figure on enquiry.
Floor tier: from 8,480 RMB
One train sits below the luxury field altogether, and it is worth knowing about because it explains the size of the gap. The Panda Express Shifang (熊猫专列·什邡号) starts at 8,480 RMB per person: seventeen cars, around 466 guests, four-berth compartments and shared shower rooms. It is not a cheaper version of a luxury train, it is a different thing wearing similar livery, and for large groups and multi-generational travel it is frequently the right call.
Entry tier: from around 49,880 RMB

What every published price includes
- Cabin or suite for the full itinerary, single or shared as booked.
- All meals on board and most off-board group meals; drinks as per the operator.
- English-speaking curator for the whole journey.
- Ground transfers, entry fees and rail excursion as listed on the train page.
- Single supplement is published per departure where it applies; on Jinxiu Tianfu and White Cloud Express 2027 it is 8,000 RMB.
International flights, China visa fees, gratuities and personal items are not included unless stated on the train page.
