Tianshan Express. Less private luxury but full route coverage. Tianshan Express has en-suite rooms from 16,999 RMB.
Hulunbuir Express. 44 guests. No other Chinese luxury train comes close to this level of exclusivity.
New Orient Express. Operating since 1999. Three gold tiers. 35 seasonal departures. The reference standard.
Panda Express Chengdu. Family suites, children's activity car. The only train with dedicated family infrastructure.

Tianshan Express. The only train that works northern Xinjiang by private vehicle rather than tour coach. Note that the Bayanbulak section of the Duku Highway is not open to foreign passports; Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan documents can travel the full route.
